ļæ½ļæ½Activities network universities and research institutions in the Baltic Sea area, reaching out to governmental institutions as well as farmers. ļæ½ļæ½Tasks include information on research activities and results, initiation of research projects, development of courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, making use of new information and communication technology.

ļæ½ļæ½Helpdesk function for project formulation and financing.

ļæ½ļæ½Governed by a Board of Trustees including financial and political stakeholders, and a Stakeholder Committee representing the members. ļæ½ļæ½Based on thematic working groups organized into two networks: The Education Network and The Research Network, each led by a co-ordinator. ļæ½ļæ½Financing primarily from EU sources, but also national contributions.
