The fifth NOVA-BOVA CC meeting

The fifth NOVA-BOVA Coordination Committee (CC) meeting took place in April 2, at KVL in Copenhagen. Reports of NOVA-BOVA activities in 2003 and in meantime between meetings were presented to the Coordination Committee. Major discussions focused on development of NOVA-BOVA networks, VUSABALT project and interests in tne Notrth-West Russia region. NOVA strategy for 2004-2006 was introduces to meeting participants as a key model for development of international cooperation between universities.

A deep discussions focused on current status and future perspectives of Joint Master programs. NOVA-BOVA WG on Joint Master programmes presented a report and recommendations for future development of joint programmes. Discussions on proposals from WG and member university policies with respect to joint master programs had a place after the presentation.

The most important meeting outcomes focused on recommendation to establish the "BOVA Committee on Joint Studies" and  decision to prolong the activity of WG on Joint Master Studies in 2004 with new mandate.

Key decisions and recommendation from NOVA-BOVA Coordination Committee will be publicised after the draft protocol will be agreed between meeting participants.
