"Technologies of organic animal husbandry"
Course in the frame of master program Agroecology and Organic Agriculture.

Course "Technologies of organic animal husbandry" will be arranged in Estonian University of Life Sciences in February 13-17, 2006. This is a second course form series of six in 2006. Course is still open for applications from Baltic students. Teachers and supervisors are welcome to advice this course for their students.

 The main topics are:Coure flyer

  • principles of organic animal production;

  • keeping and housing of animal in organic farming; � principles of animal welfare and ethology;

  • welfare, ANI-index;

  • organic animal production in Estonia and EU.

Registration deadline to the course has been extended and students from all BOVA member universities are welcome to join and take a high quality course. Program and Application forms are available at BOVA webpage and you are welcome to contact BOVA coordinators if willing to attend this course.
