Methods in cell biology and cell culturing science

 

Summary

The aim of the course is to give an overview and general practical introduction of the principles of the work with mammalian cells and cell cultures, as well as presentation of methods to assess functional capacities of these cells. Practical training will be aiming to demonstrate and practice some basic methods applicable to study biology and functions of different cells. Introduction to various methods, selection of appropriate method, method validation will be discussed. Participants will be trained to work with cells and cell cultures, evaluate and choose the most appropriate method to study biology an function of cells. Participants will also be shortly introduced to plant cell culturing.
