Master course �Agroecology in the Baltic States today�
The
Nordic-Baltic-Russian Academic Network in Agroecology in the frame
of NORDPLUS NEIGHBOUR 2006-2007 project financed by NCM invites Baltic
and Nordic students to the master level course �Agroecology in the
Baltic States today�.
Course will take place in all three countries in period
from September 25 to October 4, 2006. Students will have a possibility
to visit all three Baltic countries and be introduced to the specifics
of organic agriculture in each country. The main focus in the course is
on:

organic farming in the Baltic States;
-
measures of Environmental Protection used in
agriculture;
-
organic crop production and grasslands,
-
organic animal husbandry and welfare,
-
processing and marketing of organic products,
-
rational use of soils and natural resources,
-
organic horticulture.
Theoretical content will be followed by the study trips and
case studies for knowledge anchoring. Successfully graduating the
course, students will receive a certificate. Course value is 6 ECTS
Application to the course is open till September 15 and students from
all BOVA member universities as well
NOVA UN students are welcome to apply and take this attractive
course.
Application deadline is set to September 15, 2006.
Participation in the course is free of charge and all course relevant
expenses to student are subject for covering from the course budget.
