NOVA-BOVA Working Group on Joint Master Programmes (WGMSc) continues its
activity in 2004. The first meeting of follow-up group took place in
26th of May in the Latvia University of Agriculture.
Deputy Rector of the Latvia University of Agriculture professor Juris
Skujans opened the meeting and welcomed it participants wishing a
fruitful result. Leader of the working group Lea Michelson (Estonian
Agricultural University) made a brief overview of development events and
regulations in connection with Joint MSc on European level and shared
her impressions from seminar �Joint Degrees � Further development� that
took place in Stockholm in May 2004. Many important topics including
WGMSc timetable for 2004, draft of Agreement for Cooperation on
Implementation of Joint BOVA study programs and establishment of BOVA
Committee on Joint Studies were discussed during the meeting.
BOVA coordinators and representatives from BOVA and NOVA secretariats
were invited to the meeting and contributed with opinion on going
process from perspective of further network development.
The next WGMSc meeting is foreseen for the end of June, 2004.
