Baltic applications to NOVA PhD courses [2005-07-12 13:39:13] The Nordic Research Board (NordForsk) has recently announced results of application to NOVA PhD courses. Seven NOVA courses will be provided with funds to cover participation costs of Baltic PhD students and one course has been granted earlier for participation of 3 Baltic students.

Proceedings of the working seminar "Use of ICT in distance learning" online [2005-06-22 09:46:12] NOVA-BOVA seminar "ICT in distance learning" was organised by NOVA UN and the BOVA University and held in April 27-29, 2005 in Kaunas, Lithuania. Estonian Agricultural University invites to PhD studies [2005-06-13 11:45:13] Three state financed PhD study positions are available at the Estonian Agricultural University (EPMU) starting from study year 2005. Applicants with MSc degree or equivalent and good English are welcomed at EPMU for full study period of four years. Closing date for applications is set to July 4, 2004. NOVA-BOVA planning group meeting [2005-05-16 18:34:22] A NOVA-BOVA planning group, consisting of 8 people and including NOVA and BOVA Rectors met in Copenhagen on April 22, 2005. Referring to the NOVA-BOVA self-evaluation and external evaluation reports, the group addressed the ways of future cooperation between NOVA UN and BOVA. The meeting concluded a set of statements and recommendations that will be discussed at the upcoming meetings of the NOVA Rector board and the BOVA Rector board in May-June 2005. NOVA and BOVA secretariats kindly invite the member universities to discuss the evaluation reports at faculty or department level and comment on their contents.
