Seminar Place: Tartu, Estonia, Estonian University of Life Sciences is hosting the seminar.
Traditional Annual NOVA seminar which always take place in some of Nordic countries this year have been modified to the joint Seminar of NOVA and BOVA University networks with the general aim to bring together Nordic and Baltic representatives from NOVA and BOVA member institutions (leadership, administration, teaching staff, students) which are curious about the development of higher eduction in the field of life sciences and interested in the strengthening of cooperation between the countries and between the generations.
In the date of arrival will be organised by hosting university the visit to the Estonia University to Life Sciences.
First day of the seminar will be devoted to the topic on BRIDING GENARATION where on plenary session and during the workshops will be presented and discussed many issues related to active learning, e-learning, distance learning and group dynamics, IT technologies and social medias in teaching and learning, blended learning, learning and emotions.
Besides this by the end of the day will have place 2 very important meetings one on the level of vice-rectors and vice-deans, NOVA KUF and BOVA CC meeting and second one on the level of Rectors and deans - NOVA Board and BOVA Rectors' Board meeting where is planned to sign the renewed cooperation agreement between these 2 networks cooperating already more when 15 years.
Second day of the seminar will reflect BRIDING COUNTRIES topic and plenary session speakers will give an overview about agricultural challenges and university teaching, the future of the forestry in Nordic-region, urbanisation and climate cange. In the mini-symposium part of the second day participants will be divided by the interest into group where will be possible to discuss about veterinary issues, cooperation in running PhD courses, Baltic University Programme etc. As well NOVA Student Board will have an opportunity to have deep discussions with the sister unit on BOVA side - BOVA Student Council and exchange of students' views.
Preliminary registration: Interested in participation persons should contact your local BOVA coordinators and register until April 1st.
Final registration: After April 1st all registered at home institutions persons will receive a link to electronic enrolment form which should be fill out by 11th April.

This seminar is aimed to gather together staff and students from BOVA member institutions taking part in BOVA activities in order openly and widely discuss the most vital collaboration points for benefits of all involved parties and based on these discussions to work out the BOVA strategy for next working period of 3 years. In parallel during this seminar will be touch the items related with the cross-border higher education, the role of BOVA in providing CBHE and future actions.
Registration is closed. More than 50 participants from all 4 member institutions have showed interest to take part in the BOVA seminar.
