BOVA Rectors Board meeting on 27.01.2020, LLU, Jelgava Palace

BOVA RB meeting will take a place on 27.01.2020. at Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, Jelgava Palace

BOVA RB is the supreme decision making institution of the BOVA University Network. It includes rectors of each BOVA UN member institution. The RB takes political key decisions for the network activities, development and funding. The agreed actions are implemented through the BOVA Rector and Secretariat.

BOVA Rector is the Chairman of the BOVA RB and elected by the BOVA RB for three year period and takes a voluntary position aimed to supervise the BOVA Secretariat’s daily activities and manage internal BOVA funds according the budget approved by the RB.

RB has the following responsibilities and the power of decision:

-          defines the mission of the BOVA UN;
-          sates long-term objectives and strategy for development of BOVA cooperation;
-          secures basic economic platform fro cooperation;
-          approves basic BOVA budget; evaluates performance of the BOVA UN;
-          appoints/elects and dismisses the BOVA rector;
-          defines and approves necessary Bodies inside the BOVA UN.
